Easy Procedure for Booking Complaint to HP
01. open website http://www.itrc.hp.com/
02. For first time you have create one user name and password by clicking register button on left side.
03. login with your user name and password
04. in the options select support case manager.
05. enter Product no (ex: NA*****) and sl no of CPU (EX: INA*******)
06. Click on next
07. if ur cpu exist in warranty it wil ask ur contact address and problem description.
08. enter the details of the hard ware which have problem ( for example if keyboard not working enter the model of the keyboard i.e ps/2 or usb)
09. after completion click on submit to generate the case id.

Sanchay post Data base creation in WINDOWS 2008 Server.

  WHILE WE TRY CREATE DATA BASE OF  SANCHAY POST IN WINDOWS 2008 SERVER, LOGIN WILL NOT BE CREATED.  SOLUTION IS GIVEN BELOW.

SUPPOSE YOUR DOMAIN NAME IS HODOMAIN

GO TO ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS--->GROUP POLICY MANAGEMENT--->EXPAND THE FOREST YOUR DOMAIN NAME--->HODOMAIN.COM EXPAND DOMAINS AND LOCATE YOUR HODOMAIN.COM LEAF



RIGHT CLICK ON DEFAULT DOMAIN POLICY AND FROM THE CONTEXT MENU SELECT "EDIT"


NAVIGATE TO THE FOLLOWING:

COMPUTER CONFIGURATON--> WINDOWS SETINGS-->SECURITY SETTINGS--->ACCOUNT POLICIES--> PASSWORD POLICY


DOUBLE CLICK ON PASSWORDS MUST MEET COMPLEXITY REQUIREMENTS AND FROM THE SECITY POLICY SETTING TAB SET THE POLICY TO DISABLED..


SELECT OK ..


THEN RUN GPUPDATE /FORCE

Dealing with Station articles in project arrow offices.

   In Postman application, the local articles can be fetched using “Bag received” option in Operator login OR “Fetch from counter” option in Tools menu of Supervisor login. The users are expected to use only one of these options for fetching data of local article. When they use both the options, such articles will be shown as “Mail not sent out for delivery out of fresh receipt” in DET. The option “fetch from counter” has to be used only on the day of invoicing to postman, but not on the date of booking. The same thing will also work for speed net.



If both “Fetch from counter” option and “Bag details” option for receipt of the local articles then DET is adding both the articles and hence number of receipt will be more and issued to postman will come less. However in order to eliminate this condition PTC has forwarded one script Postman22042010.exl


Running this  script will eliminate the condition that only one to the two options i.e. either the fetch from counter option or bag details option should be used.


This may please be brought to the notice of all Project Arrow Offices specifically and to all computerized Post Offices in general. All concerned may be advised to book the station / local articles as per procedure and follow the above mentioned procedure for processing the same.

ENABLING TELNET IN VISTA SYSTEMS



When I try to use telnet feature in Vista, I couldn’t use it. After scrolling through Microsoft help, I learn that you need to enable it in Vista first.

Go to Start –>> Control Panel –>> Programs and features –>> Turn Windows features on or off

After that, check Telnet Client and click ok.
