MEGHDOOT 7 UPDATE 2.0 FOR NPS

A New Update on Meghdoot 7.0 Released.

Introduction:

Due to the revision of NPS tariff, required changes in Point of Sale and e-Payment modules have been done to incorporate the revised tariff and hence this release

Pre-requisites:

Update-1 to Meghdoot 7.0 Released on 05.12.2011

Contents of the Update-2:

Update-2 contains the following folders

1	Application Upgrade
2	Database Upgrade

.Similarly, after running each exl file (database upgradation), please check whether it is run without any errors. If any errors are reported, please send the log files created by the application

Upgradation Procedure

Database Upgradation

• Upgrade Counter database by running Counter13032012.exl using the script tool
• Upgrade eCounter database by running eCounterNPSTariff13032012.exl using the script tool

Application Upgradation

• Replace the existing Point of sale exe with the new Pointofsale exe.

• Replace the existing eBillHOlib.dll with the new eBillHOLib.dll

• Register the eBillHOlib.dll

• Replace the existing ePaymentClient exe with the new ePaymentClientexe.

DESPATCH DAY END ERROR.

WHILE PERFORMING SHIFT END IN DESPATCH MODULE , IF AN ERROR SHOWN IN THE PICUTRE COMES, DOWN LOAD THE SCRIPT FILE AND EXECUTE IT.  ALSO REPLACE THE NEW DESPATCH EXE.

PL.RUN THE FOLLOWING QUERY FOR RPC. REPLACE" MYSERVER" WITH YOUR SERVER NAME.

THIS QUERY CAN BE USED FOR RPC ERROR COMES WHILE DOING SUBMIT ACCOUNT IN POINT OF SALE ALSO.

R NET COMMUNICTION PROBLEM IN NON DELIVERY SOS

In Case of Non delivery postoffices while we running the R NET Communication after upgradation to update-1 of Meghdoot 7.0 Sometimes an error occurs. After updation while looking for getting officer masters through R NET communication the following error message occurs.This problem can be solved by replacing the new R NET Communication Exe.Please download the latest R Net communication exe from the link given below.
Rename the original exe and the replace the existing one with the new exe downloaded. 
And then check.
