SP Tool Is Used For The Following Purposes: -

1. Generating the Data Profiler report.

2. Creating tables in MSSQL Server for calculating interest.

3. Interest calculation.

4. Extracting the POST tables into flat files. Zip them and Ftp

5. Extracting the SIGN images into flat files. Zip them and Ftp

Instructions To Install

1. Create a folder called SPPackage.

2. Download the SPTool_v.zip file from the site given by DoP and Save the .zip file to the SPPackage folder.

Note: Always download the latest version or specified version from above site.

3. Extract the zip file and put the contents of the zip file in the folder SPPackage created in step 1 

How To Execute SPTool

Preconditions: -

Before executing SPTool the following needs to be done.

• Open the SQL Management Studio/ SQL Enterprise Manager.
• Check for DCL user in the SQL server.
• Open the sptool.reg present inside the SPPackage folder using Notepad.exe.

• Open the userBmpCon.reg present inside the SPPackage folder using Notepad.exe.

• Open the SQL Management Studio/ SQL Enterprise Manager, right click on the server name.
• Fetch the value of the Name key (Highlighted one) and replace for (local) (shown above).
